Lock Down!

I thought since I haven't posted too much about our little Tater it was time to do so! Tate whom we mostly call Patch, is a crazy lil guy! Now, when Kenden turned 2 we got him a toddler bed. He stayed in bed, it was great! So we were thinking about getting Tate a toddler bed around his 2nd birthday! Needless to say that did NOT happen and it's not gonna be happening for a long time! Reason being Tate dose not stay in his bed at all. He can get out of there in a matter of a few seconds. Normally our boy's sleep in til atleast 8:00. Well there was a like 2 week period that Patch was waking up at like 5:45. Hopping out of his bed, roaming around the house by himself. Destroying anything that crossed his path! He's a climber, like i've mentioned before. So he climbs up the cupboards and gets on the counter and into the sink. Turns on the water. Gets into the sugar jar, just whatever he shouldn't be doing, he pretty much does. So one day we decided to fix the problem so we screwed a piece of plywood to the top of his crib, leaving just a little gap in the back. So we could slide him in and out. Yeah right, that kept him trapped for about a minute. He just climbed over the high side of the crib. So we had to tie a sheet down to all four legs. And as long as that sheet is stretched tight he can't get out.

So this is what it looks like.

And this is what it looks like when it's bedtime.

This has fixed his escaping problem, but........ created a new one.

As you can see he has nothing on his walls. There were two shelves that hung behind him. And a few paintings on the other wall. He has ripped and broke everything off the shelves and kept knocking down the paintings. So I removed everything.

He looks innocent and he's so cute. Don't be fooled!

It is always so funny when it is someone else's kid making all those messes! I love it!. Luckily, Bradlee isn't a climber.
